At Home Dog Training
Syndey Dog Training & Behaviourism
Dog training and dog behaviourism in Sydney comes with it's unique challenges.. Our in-home dog training focuses on these specific challenges to give you the personalised attention you require. This means we can go the specific locations where you need the most help. Maybe your dog is perfect at home but pulls like crazy when you walk past the café strip in Surry Hills. Or perhaps they're wonderful with family but struggle when visitors come to your Mosman apartment. We train exactly where the problems occur.
Recent clients have worked on everything from resource guarding around food bowls to stopping their dog’s barking at every movement outside the window. The individual attention means we can move at exactly the right pace for your dog while addressing your family's specific lifestyle needs.
And the best bit. You don’t need to rely on food bribery, clicker training, time intensive brain games and we never use fear, force or aggression. Our dog training gives you the tools to build the perfect companion.
All training comes with 3 months support as standard and $1,000+ of free support..

Before Your Puppy Arrives
Puppy Preparation Program
Getting a new puppy is exciting, but preparation prevents problems. Most new dog parents in Sydney make the same mistakes - they wait until issues develop before seeking help. Smart families start before their puppy even arrives home.
Our pre-puppy program covers two key areas. The first, and most commonly overlooked is whether you should even get a puppy and if so, what breed would be best for you.
Once you have decided the best fit for you it is all about preparation. We cover everything from puppy-proofing your Surry Hills apartment to setting up feeding schedules that work with Sydney's climate.
We discuss which local beaches are best how to navigate Sydney's strict leash laws. Many clients from Newtown and Glebe find this service invaluable because inner-city living with a new puppy presents unique challenges.
We can give you guidance on everything you need to know. Whether you're in a high-rise in the CBD or a family home in the Hills District, we adapt our approach to your specific situation.
8 Weeks - 8 Months
Sydney Puppy School & Program
Puppy School and Puppy Training is more than just teaching a few basic commands. It is about building confidence, for you and your dog, and social skills that last a lifetime.
It's about teaching you how to mange your puppy from their first day at home until they settle in to becoming an adult.
Our puppy program incorporates a 4 week puppy school into 6 months of ongoing support for you and your new puppy. Access four dedicated courses on puppy toileting, new puppy nightmares and more on our video tutorial database and get 6 months of dedicated 1:1 support.
As standard, you also get to access our adult dog behavioural training videos. We will help you to identify problem behaviours early and show you exactly how to solve them.
Sydney puppies face unique socialisation challenges. Between the busy streets of the city centre and the off-leash areas in Centennial Park, young dogs need to learn how to navigate various environments safely. Our structured puppy school program addresses these specific needs while teaching fundamental skills like recall, loose leash walking, and impulse control.
This course delivers everything you need to get you through your first year of puppy ownership.
8 Months +
Adolescent Program - Perfect Pup to Perfect Companion
At 8 months, your puppy is starting to find their confidence and really learn about their place in the world. For a lot of owners, this is where behavioural issues begin to appear. From small problems such as resource guarding to jumping up and barking.
Join our adolescent program to get support on identifying common behavioural issues and learn to deal with them quickly and effectively, saving you plenty of money and stress down the road.
Solo Dog Walking Across Sydney
Not every dog thrives in group settings, and some need individual attention to address specific behavioral goals. Our solo dog walking service provides one-on-one exercise and training reinforcement throughout the week.
This service is perfect for dogs recovering from surgery, senior dogs who need gentler exercise, or reactive dogs who are still working on their social skills. We customise each walk based on your dog's needs, whether that's practicing loose leash walking through the quiet streets of Balmain or working on recall training at a secluded area of Sydney Park.
Each walk includes training reinforcement, mental stimulation activities, and detailed notes about your dog's progress. Many clients utilise this to help their dog get support after completing their dog training. We encourage everyone to book a free meet & greet before working together.
Group Dog Walking Across Sydney
Sydney's incredible outdoor spaces become even better when your dog can enjoy them with friends. Our group dog walking service combines exercise with continued socialisation and training practice in real-world environments.
We limit our dog walking adventures to 3 dogs. Why? Sydney does not allow walkers to have 4 or more dogs at any one time (despite what many walkers will tell you).
Groups are carefully selected based on temperament, size, and training level. We might take a group to explore the coastal walks near Coogee, practice recall skills at a secure area in Moore Park, or work on urban walking skills through the bustling streets of Paddington. Each adventure is a training opportunity disguised as fun.
The social aspect helps dogs maintain their training while building confidence around other dogs. For many Sydney dogs who spend most of their time indoors or in small yards, these group outings provide much-needed physical and mental stimulation.
In Home Pet Sitting Across Sydney
Travel plans shouldn't disrupt your dog or cat's routine. Our in-home pet sitting service keeps your pet comfortable in their familiar environment.
This service is especially popular with clients in the Eastern Suburbs and North Shore who prefer their pet's stay home rather than board elsewhere.
Daily updates include photos and notes about your dog's activities, behaviour, and any milestones achieved during your absence. Many clients return to find their dogs have actually improved in certain areas thanks to the consistent reinforcement.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Areas of Sydney Do You Work In?
We offer in home dog training to owners all across Sydney. Our puppy school (within our in person programs)is usually held towards the Eastern Suburbs or central Sydney and we encourage any owner to come and join us.
I Am Not In Sydney, Can You Still Help With My Dog?
We help support clients all over the world through our online training. We even have clients in Sydney who prefer to learn online only. Please join our community to see what is available.
How Does Your Dog Training Work?
Developing a well behaved dog has 2 parts: dog psychology & dog training. We focus first on understanding the dog and getting them to choose to follow and listen to us. When dogs aren't making all the decisions, they calm down and relax, making them far more receptive to training. To do this, we don’t need to use force, fear or aggression. In fact the opposite. Whether dealing with barking, leash pulling, jumping, or aggression, these behaviours typically stem from dogs being too excited, reactive, and emotional. The key is getting them to turn to you and listen when it matters. Once they're calm and looking to you for guidance, you can effectively show them how to behave.
In short: before you train the dog, you need to win their mind.
What Qualifications to You Have?
All our team members are required to pass AFP background checks before working with us as well as sitting and passing the Red Cross Pet First Aid Australia course. I trained under Dan Adbelnoor and graduate from the Dog Trainer Academy whilst also being a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) from Pet Sitters International.
Can You Guarantee Results?
No dog trainer or behaviourist can guarantee a given result in a given time. We always tell our clients that if you follow our training, are patient and diligent you should see the 1/1/1 rule. That is improvement in 1 day, 1 week and 1 month.
The methods we used have helped over 100,000 other dog owners to solve their dog's behavioural issues.
How Will My Dog Respond To Training?
Like people, all dogs are different. What really matter's is not your dog, but you. Some dog's can be more stubborn but ultimately if you engagement in calm and consistent action your Dog will get better. A better question, is how will you respond?
