Do you offer private adult dog training?

For adult dogs (1 year+) we offer a completely 1:1 service that includes either one or two training sessions. These last between 2 - 2.5 hours and come with full online, phone and community support as well as dedicated behavioural guides.\n

Do you offer fully private puppy training?

All of our puppy programs come with at least 1 x at home one to one session included. You can choose to increase this to however many sessions you need. Some clients do not want to participate in group classes for several reasons. Socialisation is a critical point of puppy development. We are able to offer a full one to one experience for clients that are able to prove they can fully socialise their dog outside of our training.

How many dogs are in puppy school?

We aim for between 6 and 10 dogs in puppy school to balance quality and socialisation.

What are your puppy school locations?

Our puppy schools are run across multiple different venues to ensure that you have a convenient place location to attend during the puppy program. We currently offer: Paddington, Marrickville, Neutral Bay, Zetland and Alexandria.

Which areas of Sydney do you work in?

Our services are offered all across Sydney. We have clients in the: Inner City / City Centre Eastern Suburbs Inner West Lower North Shore Upper North Shore Northern Beaches Hills District Western Sydney South Sydney / St George Puppy School specifically runs within about 8km of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, across our five venues: Paddington, Zetland, Marrickville, Alexandria and Neutral Bay.

How will my dog respond to the training?

Like people, all dogs are different. What really matters is not your dog, but you. Some dog's can be more stubborn but ultimately if you engage in calm and consistent action your dog will get better.\n

Can you guarantee results?

No dog trainer or behaviourist can guarantee outcomes in a given timeframe unless they are willing to use unethical methods (eg shock collars etc). As a completely dog training organisation, we would never use these methods. There are 4 important factors when it comes to training: Your ability to be consistent (the most important) Your personality Your dog's breed Your dog's background We always tell our clients that if you follow our training, are patient and diligent you should see the 1/1/1 rule. That is gradual improvement in 1 day, 1 week and 1 month. The methods we used have helped over 100,000 other dog owners to solve their dog's behavioural issues.

What is the best dog training method for me?

Aaaah, now that's a great question. There are 4 major schools of dog training and you will suit one better than all the rest. We have a quick course and selection tool on these schools. Pragmatic Positive Trainers Relational Leadership (Us) Scientific Conditioners Empathetic Trainers All these methods have successful (and sometimes famous) trainers that have helped hundreds of thousands of people. Although you may want to work with us. If you join our community and then decide you like a different method and that works for you, we are happy!

I adopted a slightly older rescue, can you help?

If you have a rescue and are looking for support, we can absolutely help. Rescue dogs are usually too old for the puppy school but you can join the adolescent program (4 months+) to help get support on how to manage common behavioural issues.
