Sydney puppy school and complete puppy program
Most puppy schools run four classes and wave you off. We start in your home before the first class and stay with you until your dog is eight months old. The group school, the 1:1 home sessions, a 26-module course, and a trainer on the phone the whole way.
How the program works
The home visit, the puppy school, the course and six months of support, all working together. Watch how it fits, then start with your puppy.
Quick Overview
The Complete Puppy Program combines a 1:1 home visit, a four-week group puppy school, a 26-module online course and six months of support. It runs from the day your puppy comes home through to eight months old, and everything we do is force-free.
1:1 Home Sessions
Every program includes at least one 1:1 session in your own home. Gold and Platinum add further sessions covering a wider range of topics.
Group Puppy School
The group puppy school runs four weeks, once a week, with sessions up to an hour. Classes cap at ten puppies, matched by size and age, across five Sydney locations.
6 Month Online Course
You get the 26-module online course as soon as you sign up, structured around your puppy's age from day one to eight months. You work through each module as it becomes relevant.
Speak With A Human
Alongside the online programme, you can reach a real person whenever you need to. The amount of support varies by level, but you can always get in touch.
Lifetime Community Access
You get lifetime access to our online training community and to the Dog Calming Code, the rules we follow for behaviour. We share updates on methods, events and more.
Choose Your Level Of Support
The program comes in three levels: Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each includes the school, the course, the home session and support. Different tiers give different levels of 1:1 training and personalised support. There are currently 3 tiers:
From your first dog to fifth, from families to solo parents and XL's to teacups. We have seen it all.

The hard part is not usually the first few weeks. It is month four. Month five. The cute puppy phase wears off and you have got a dog testing every boundary they can find, and you are not quite sure what went wrong. That is exactly when most owners are on their own, because most schools finished months ago. We are still there, on the phone, with the course and the community, until your dog is eight months old and the hard part is behind you.
Puppyhood moves fast. Here's what's coming, and where we help.
Puppyhood looks adorable online. In real life it's 3am wake-ups, accidents on the rug, needle-sharp teeth on your hands and the kids, and a dog who jumps on every visitor. Then it changes: pulling on the lead, ignoring you the moment there's a distraction, barking at the door, chewing the skirting boards, and a meltdown every time you leave the house. By six or seven months you've got an adolescent testing every rule you ever set. We help with all of it, in the order it actually happens, so most of it never takes hold, and what does gets sorted fast.
The day you've waited for, and within 48 hours you realise nobody warned you about the 3am crying, the accidents on the rug or the needle-sharp teeth. This is the most important window in your dog's whole life, and what you do now sets the tone for years. We come to your home in the first few days and get the basics right: the routine, the crate, toileting and the first rules. You start calm and clear, instead of guessing.
Second vaccination done, and your puppy can start to be around other dogs safely in a controlled environment. The socialisation window is wide open, which makes this the single best time to start group school. Four weeks, once a week, matched by size and age, where your puppy learns to settle around other puppies, people and distractions, and you learn how to handle them. Miss this window and the same lessons take far longer to teach later.
The four weeks are done and your puppy has the basics: settling, early recall, lead manners and a calmer head out in the world. The socialisation window is still open a crack, so we keep stacking good experiences while it counts. This is where most schools wave you goodbye, but the real challenges are still ahead, so we d
By six months your puppy should have met the world: people, other dogs, traffic, the vet, the lot. The early work pays off here, you've got a confident dog who takes new things in their stride. Where it was skipped, the gaps start to show as nervousness or reactivity. The online course and your support keep running right through it.
The teenage phase, and it catches owners out every single time. The boundaries you set get tested, recall falls apart, and the calm dog from a few months ago seems to have forgotten the lot. It's normal, and it passes. With the early work done you ride it out instead of starting from scratch, and we're still on the phone when you need us.
Why Owners Choose To Work With Us
"One of the best things about Luke is that he is incredibly responsive and available, whenever we needed him"
