Follow Up Home Training Session

Puppy school starts with a four week group class, which every level gets, along with the Relational Leadership framework, Before Day One and lifetime community access. From Silver up you add home sessions, the online course, 24/7 digital trainer support that knows your course and direct support from Luke.

There are four levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, so you can choose how involved you want us to be.

If your puppy is too old for the group class, Private Puppy Training replaces it with an extra home session at every level.

Yes. Our adolescent training is now called Private Puppy Training. It is our puppy program run entirely in your home, with no group class, and one extra 90 minute session at every level.

Bronze has one home session, Silver two, Gold four and Platinum eleven. The online course, direct support and the Do The Work Guarantee start at Silver.

Meet and greets are completely free and there is no obligation to work with us after the meet and greet has taken place.

Developing a well behaved dog has 2 parts: dog psychology & dog training. We focus first on understanding your dog and getting them to choose to follow and listen to us. When dogs aren't making all the decisions, they calm down and relax, making them far more receptive to training. To do this, we don’t need to use force, fear or aggression. In fact the opposite. Whether dealing with barking, leash pulling, jumping, or aggression, these behaviours typically stem from dogs being too excited, reactive, and emotional. The key is getting them to turn to you and listen when it matters. Once they're calm and looking to you for guidance, you can effectively show them how to behave.
In short: before you train the dog, you need to win their mind.

Meet and greets are usually between 15 and 30 minutes

Yes. We teach management techniques and impulse control that work in confined spaces. The goal is calm passing regardless of path width.

One 90 minute session in your home for $465, working on the behaviour that is actually happening. In your first session we usually cover:

• What is actually driving the behaviour, rather than the behaviour itself
• The Five Golden Rules, and how they change the way your house runs
• The specific problem you called us about, worked on where it actually happens
• Time outside on your own street or at your park if that is where it goes wrong

You finish with a plan built around the hours you actually have, that you can start the same day. Book one session, or more if you need them.

Recall training is part of our core programme. We use long-line training to build reliability before trusting off-leash freedom.
