What is included in the Complete Puppy Program?

The Toe Beans Co offers our Complete Puppy Program which includes: a 4 week group puppy school, 1:1 sessions, access to our 26 module online training course covering every element of puppy development with breed specific support up to 8 months old and 6 months community and phone support. We offer 3 levels of service: silver, gold and platinum that help you tailor the amount of one-to-one sessions and support to your needs. For puppies too old to attend puppy school (>15 weeks) at enrolment we offer a dedicated adolescent program that provides more 1:1 training in lieu of the puppy school.

What is included in the adolescent training?

Our Adolescent Program gives you everything you need help your puppy turn into a well behaved adult dog. Designed specifically for dogs aged 4 months + we combine private traing, online courses, 1:1 phone support. Here is a summary of everything that is included:

Two dedicated at home training sessions (2 - 2.5 hours each)
One to One Home Sessions
Access To Our 26 Module Complete Online Puppy Program
Lifetime Community Access
Personalised One to One Support Support Across Community and Phone
Equipment if necessary
Lifetime access to the dog calming code

Are meet and greets free?

Meet and greets are completely free and there is no obligation to work with us after the meet and greet has taken place

What is the ethos behind your dog training?

Developing a well behaved dog has 2 parts: dog psychology & dog training. We focus first on understanding your dog and getting them to choose to follow and listen to us. When dogs aren't making all the decisions, they calm down and relax, making them far more receptive to training. To do this, we don’t need to use force, fear or aggression. In fact the opposite. Whether dealing with barking, leash pulling, jumping, or aggression, these behaviours typically stem from dogs being too excited, reactive, and emotional. The key is getting them to turn to you and listen when it matters. Once they're calm and looking to you for guidance, you can effectively show them how to behave.
In short: before you train the dog, you need to win their mind.

How long are meet and greets?

Meet and greets are usually between 15 and 30 minutes

Can you help with reactivity on narrow footpaths?

Yes. We teach management techniques and impulse control that work in confined spaces. The goal is calm passing regardless of path width.

What is included in the adult dog training?

We combine training and ongoing support to help you with get back on track:

2 - 2.5 hour At-Home 1-on-1 consultation
Tailored training covering the 5 Golden Rules and tackling the specific challenge that you are facing
Option to go offsite to visit park, street or garden where the behavioural issues are occurring
Detailed input on how to implement dog calming code training to solve your behavioural issues and show your dog how you want them to behave

Do you train recall for the beach?

Similiar to the above but there are many more moving parts. Different methods approach this differently but this can be solved. This can be exacerbated with new borns, if that is the situation you are in
